The 50% off sale also applies for in store purchases as well. There are 15% off coupons floating around, if you don't have one, ask an employee, they'll either give you one (which you can reuse) or just take the 15% off your purchase.

If you're making a purchase in store, chances are, when you check out, an employee will hand you a couple of coupons: one for 15% and one for 10% for you to give to a friend. (They've reduced the savings, they used to be both 15% off coupons.) These coupons are good January 16, 2009 to February 8, 2009. If they don't give them to you ask if they have any. :)

Also, pay attention to your receipt. I just noticed on mine that they're doing a percentage discount for your opinions. If you complete the survey, jot down the validation code, take it back to the store to get 15% off your next purchase. There doesn't seem to be an expiration date on that, but I haven't had a chance to complete the survey yet. I'll report back when I do.
